Based in Johannesburg, the Liquefied Petroleum Gas Safety Association of Southern Africa is a non profit organisation that represents many companies that are involved in LPGas refining, distribution, retailing, hardware and appliances. The Association's aim is to ensure the sustainable growth of the liquefied petroleum gas industry through safety and compliance with best business practices.
Verified Appliances
It is mandatory for appliances, hoses and regulators falling within the scope of the South African National Standards to be tested for compliance and for the manufacturers or importers of such products to obtain a Verification Permit from the LPGSASA. To obtain a permit, please access the Permit Guide Book here and follow the process.
